Benyu's Aldershot Reach Play-Offs
at 08:27:54

Had the pleasure of watching Benny at Aldershot on Saturday and was well worth giving up my place at Portman road. Watching this lad craft and create chances was pleasing to the eye and just what we've been missing under Evans and Mick. I've watch Benny during his time at Ipswich and he always showed talent but never looked like he was enjoying himself. What a transformation under the influence of Gary W and James R at Aldershot. He's enjoying his football, showing flair and smiling ear to ear. So different to his time here and a sad indictment on our club.
Now Aldershot are in the playoffs and with their skills and team spirit will hopefully make their way into the football league. I wish them the very best of luck against Tramere, Wednesday and then on Saturday, followed by a trip to Wembley.

Town Announce 2017/18 Season Ticket Prices
at 16:21:52

The need to voice our views on this unjust, increased ST prices imposed on most of us, will have it's opportunity at the next home game. Appropriately, April fools day. Just how we can voice this I'll leave to the more imaginative supporters.

Town Announce 2017/18 Season Ticket Prices
at 14:30:47

My wifey and I are gobsmacked at the crass treatment of loyal town supporters. Especially like ourselves the 60+ age group. We have sat through many dire matches this season and last and we were still considering renewing but this kick in the teeth has tipped us over the edge and we'll NOT BE RENEWING our season tickets we've held for many years.
Not sure of the legality of changing a confession once stared on, as we feel if your already on that scheme you shouldn't be forced off just so that they can fleece us more.
Like others we were lucky to have witnessed the Robson era and to see our club managed by faceless people who have no feeling or love for our club beggars belief.
The stadium is starting to look shabby. Toilets, especially the ladies are disgusting, food and hot drinks are overpriced and barely edible. Could go on but it's too upsetting. Whilst our club is owned and run by this band of faceless people we are going nowhere but down.

Lincoln City 1-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 22:49:08

Well done Lincoln City. They deserved what they got and we deserved what we got which was total embarrassment. We are now the complete laughingstock of the football league. I'm ashamed and embarrassed of my team. Never thought I'd have to admit this but this was the last straw. It's made me feel sick to my stomach and even though I hold both Evans and Mick to blame it's Mick that has to go as its his tactics and his players that he's putting out there. Butcher was spot on in his comments live on tv. At last someone has told the rest of the country how we feel about how our team plays, clueless.

Birmingham City 2-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report

I firmly believe the position we are in is mainly.down to Marcus Evans after all he is the owner. MM has been told to keep us in this division and by his standards he's doing a sterling job. If it was our business we would want more as, if you stand still your going backwards and that's where we are. Evans isn't interested in our club, only as a tax liability against his other businesses. So hard to see how things will change without a new owner so that's what's top of my Christmas list. I have been good, promise.

Benyu Joining Aldershot on Loan
at 16:22:07

Watched him Monday night and looks comfortable with the ball at his feet but not able to influence the game enough as was a bit lazy. Not the only one that night but I can see that his attitude needs to change. At his age he should be hungry to press on and make a career for him self. Here's hoping that Gary Waddock and James Rowe at Aldershot can turn this talented boy around and give him some good habits which will benefit them and us in the long run. I've watched this Vanarama league and it's going to be very tough for him playing the way he is at the moment but I wish him all the best. Competitive football can only be a good experience for these youngsters as the need to be tested and improved.

Ipswich Town 0-2 Nottingham Forest - Match Report
at 22:20:38

We seem to have any forward attacking tactics coached out of us at the moment and with players like Bru just strolling around when we need some urgency beggars belief. Williams showed the aptitude required at least let's hope it filters through to the rest of the team. If not it's going to be squeaky bum time for the rest of the season. Won't be long before attendance hits rock bottom as it was a lot less than the 15000 given today.

Newcastle United 3-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report

Like most town supporters we want our team to at least compete in games and not be negative. Unfortunately our club is in the hands of an owner who's passion is directed elsewhere and while this is the case we will do well to survive in this league. We have to be careful what we wish for as I couldn't think of many managers like ours who could year on year keep us in this division with having both hands tied behind his back and fronting up like he does. We have no available funds to strengthen otherwise I'm sure Mick would have used them. I would prefer a more adventurous manager and get the excitement back at Portman road but until we get investment from a new owner it will stay just a dream.
