What has parr done not to get a game? Giles coke why? What was the point in giving mcgoldrick last 5 mins? Because he wasnt gonna change the game, wasnt gonna ulter his fitness, so why risk a reacurrence? All we hear is TC's friday finishing sessions and how much the players love it, but what else do they do in training? The so called long throw is an absolute joke, our corners are poor, and we have no one who can shoot or deliver a dangerous free kick. Tactically mccarthy is poor, lets face it, it is a 442, with freddie plsying left mid,,he was more like a left back tonight and imo, he's our best play and biggest threat. Our bench tonight was shocking(injuries i know). On a PLUS side i thought we were the better team 1st half and there gk made some fine saves, just a tiny bit of luck and i think we would have taken the lead. |

It's a shame Evans didn't give the same support to magilton instead of wanting the publicity of Roy keane. I like PJ, but he never should have come back into management, he was out the game for too long, and I'm affraid if we bring in somebody like curbs, we may still go the same way. Question is??? Has Evans got the bottle to sack jewell and get it sorted now, or is he just gonna let pj's contract run down and start again in league 1. Please do the right thing Marcus!! |

Firstly, I feel some sympathy for magilton, as at the moment he's being put in the same bracket as keane and Jewell, who are both inept to say the least. As I recall in magiltons first season our home record was incredible, w15 d7 l1(Watford). We tore teams apart, Bristol city 6-0 being the best. So, let's not be to harsh on somebody who was a brilliant player and servant to our club, especially as he was a rookie manager.
Secondly, I'm at a loss as to where our once feared and respected football club goes from here. If we stick with Jewell we are likely to go down on current form, if we gamble and get someone else in, it doesn't always work, look at Preston last year, the scummers the year before with gunn. People keep craving for young managers to be considered, but who? And would they really come here as if we sack Jewell it'll look like you only get 1 or 2 seasons get it right. I do think Today's result will be jewels last in charge, and I really hope the next manager is a very carefully selected one.

firstly, I was a massive keane fan as a player (and i adored jim as a player too) and I was so pleased when he took over, i really thought he would be here for the long haul, but how much longer can we go on playing the same drab football. the team has no shape, we never seem to play with any type of system, and we seem to be playing worse as the season goes on. If keane left today, eiher by walking or being releived of his duties, who is going to replace him? seriously. Would o'neil? would curbs? would o'driscoll leave doncaster who are top 10 and improving each season football wise and theres gates are probably too, i know we all have our thoughts on who we'd like, but we have to look at the bigger picture, we started the seaon ok, getting 22,000 ish, now were down to about 17/18,000 ish, not looking bright is it.
secondly, I was asked about a rumour somebody heard and thought i'd ask your opiions about it. rumour is, that wickham has been sold, and hes not really injured but as part of the deal, he isnt allowed to play.
any thoughts????? |
