| News Comment | Ex-Palace Chief Jordan Blasts Blues Owner Evans at 10:16:12
Gcon/Bluearmy 81 - Are people really getting angry with Jordan because they disagree with him or are they questioning how well qualified he is to make the judgement given his past track record. I personally totally agree with Osbourne One Nil that this is purely to further his radio career. |
| News Comment | Ex-Palace Chief Jordan Blasts Blues Owner Evans at 07:58:38
@Markyitfc - Surely if Simon Jordan had been a 'very successful mobile phone salesman' he wouldn't have gone bankrupt. Surely any very successful business whether it be a football club or mobile phone business remains solvent. |
| News Comment | Ex-Palace Chief Jordan Blasts Blues Owner Evans at 06:53:58
@ernie - It seems somewhat bizarre to me to assume that the plight of ITFC is entirely the fault of anybody who happens to hold different opinions to 'Markyitfc'. As such a well informed expert perhaps he will be buying ME out. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Game Hinged on Poor Penalty Decision at 12:08:05
I was not at Brentford but the whole club seems now to be in a ridiculous situation. Rightly or wrongly, MM is going and the players know that so how can they possibility gain the required motivation from him. Surely the sensible approach would have been to release him and TC, put Klug in charge and allow him to use the last few games to give some some matchtime to a few of the youngsters who he knows as well as anybody. The current situation is not beneficial to anybody. |
| News Comment | McCarthy Issues Apology for Language at 09:17:38
My nephew was rightly reprimanded by a steward for using offensive language at a home match. How can it then be acceptable for the manager to behave in this manner on prime time TV. The man is an uncouth yob with absolutely no idea on how to conduct himself in a professional manner. The lying apology to follow is laughable. |
| News Comment | Milne: Owner Evans Very Aware of "Rift" at 23:11:23
'The morale's very good' - well it damned well shouldn't be. The morale amongst the players and management should be as low as it is amongst the supporters. If it is that good then maybe they don't care enough. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Newcastle Crowd and Atmosphere a Reminder at 20:00:36
“It was fantastic, it was a real surprise to see that and it was a great noise,” he said. “It was a fabulous atmosphere and a really good performance by us. We certainly responded to it.” Does he not feel that possibly the crown responded to the performance, maybe he needs to take responsibility for poor performances or in this case credit for a good one, not the supporters. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Ranieri’s Sacking a Reminder at 03:18:29
This whole interview shows once again, total disregard for the fans whose views don't appear to bother him. While I have sympathy with MM over the meagre budget he has been given to work with, I do not believe he has made the most of what he has had available to him. Players played out of position repeatedly, MM being the only person on this planet who couldn't see it. Now players are being played in their rightful positions things have improved but this interview suggests that they have turned into worldbeaters, which is not the case. He could also use a lesson in PR. |
| News Comment | McCarthy Not Worried About Chambo's Focus at 22:17:13
'It's not a particularly nice place for me to be at the moment'. How the hell does he think we feel. He's being paid a lot of money to be there, we're paying for the privilege. |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-3 Derby County - Match Report at 10:12:03
In 50 years of watching Ipswich I have never left a match at half time but this was hurting far too much. I am fed up with hearing about a lack of money, it would appear that MM has lost the dressing room. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Simon Says £4m for Hugill at 04:31:09
It seems to me that MM's mastering of the English language is as incomprehensible as his analysis of results/expectations. |
| News Comment | Dyer: Players Need Fans’ Support Not Protests at 04:04:10
We are talking about professional footballers, not primary school children. If I turned up at work and put in a totally inept performance, on occasions not really appearing to care I would be told by my boss that I was incompetent, not fragile. These 'fragile' people earn as much in a week as many of their supporters (the people who indirectly pay their wages) earn in a year. I don't feel that Sir Bobby would be saying 'the poor chaps are fragile'. |
