i fail to realise that most people on here dont know M.E is not as rich or wont spend the money to improve the team...There are loanees at the club because there is no money to buy anybody ! As a " keano " fan i still believe he will come good.....he has to work with young players with little experience....lots of high earners at the club were released to cut down on the wages...the decision was made buy the top management to cut costs to the bone....not keanes fault !!....another " myth " is componsation !! keane left Sunderland because there was interference from Ellis Short and left with no compensation !!!......keane is a rich man and does not need to work but it does it to be the best he can......i personally think Ipswich are lucky to have him....some of the drivel on here by certain people is mad....they do not even check their information !

because of Roy Keane every " free " or "out of contract " player in football will be linked with Ipswich...I know some people on here hate him,but get used to it.Keane is a legand and worthy press speculation.Sky Sports love him because he tells it like it is.The whole summer will be speculation.some true the rest just " silly season " get used to it people....judge keane after 2 seasons...

to all the ipswich fans..a question...i rooney and 10 battlers ! look at man utd...on a mtch day...how many flair players are on the pitch ? berbatoff !.....ive watch the irish u21....garvan is lazy ! not keanes type....keane was never lazy...there were games he played....badly ! few though...but he battled till the end....fail to prepare prepare to fail ! thats keanes motto.....the players mentioned in previous posts are the nuclus of his squad....the core....the rest will follow....take out the first 14,15 games...when keane was sussing out the players and ipswich did alot better....keep the faith ..i do...love to see ipswich back in the premier and keane will lead them....to keane ipswich is not a paycheck....the man owns half of Cork ! to him its about his mentality ! winning ! up the tractor boys !!!!!

More Youngsters Could Get Their Chance

keane likes the youngsters because he can mould them into his way of playing...better players then they might other wise have been...if keane did a bad job at sunderland,why did colback and leadbitter go to ipswich ? i admit keane spent money at sunderland but he got them promoted ..sunderland got their money back....has bruce done any better of a job ? im a bruce fan ( man utd supporter )...bruce spent alot of money in the summer...bent,turner,cattermole,mensah,campbell,cana to name a few....look at the league table ? keane did a great job at sunderland ! ive never known an ex player cause so much publicity then keane and i love him ! the supporters at ipswich dont know what they have ! keane will deliver make no mistake...but he will do it his way...all the guys picking up their wages and not caring,will be gone..a new breed will imerge...young,hungry with a will to deliver...to all you tractor boys...keep the faith...the good times will come.

hi there...im new on this site....only support ipswich because roy keane is their manager.....i have followed the career of keane since he made his debut for forest all those years ago and on to man utd.....i am irish aswell and have great interest in football....the saipan incident involved 2 people,not just keane ! if you were called a liar in work in front of your workmates..what would you do ?
keane is no saint i admit that but he loves to win so much and will not settle for second best....he is trying to instill that into the ipswich players....i know owen garvan is a favourite of the fans but he is a lazy b.....d ! keane wont except that.....people say on here that keane spent 30 m in sunderland....true...but sunderland got that back and more with promotion....give the guy a chance....keane will deliver promotion...i have no doubt of that. players will come and go...thats football...some good buys some bad...ask rafa ! all i will say to the knockers is ` give keane a chance ` ..alex ferguson was 1 game from getting the sack...the rest is history.....ferguson dad 3 seasons before he began to turn things round....up the tractor boys ! and keano !
