Protest is the correct way to go, and as a fan of this club for over 45 years, it's clear we are heading in completely the wrong direction, those who back Lambert need to bore off, he has been an awful appointment from day 1,how some fans still feel they can support this clown is unbelievable. And those that defend Marcus Evans, well that's is just indefensible, yes he saved us, but if he continues in the way he is, we wont have a club anymore to moan about. Although maybe another defeat at home to Burton tonight, who are bottom of the league and just as hopeless as us, may lead to Ex Celtic and Ex Borussia Dortmund superstar(i think that's who he played for, but stand to be corrected)get sacked or he even may walk, we can only dream of that happening and live in hope. On a positive note, I'm sure we will win tonight, we must do, mustn't we...…..i mean Burton are poor...…right. |

I Love reading all of your opinions on here,and big respect to all of us,as we only comment because we care about our club.
For what its worth,my opinion is this on transfer gossip over last couple of weeks.
Jackson works hard for the team,wont knock him for that,but unsure how good he really is,as i creativity under Lambert is so poor,so for me,turning down a contract extension is not a good read,would i cash in,probably not,id like to keep him.
Toto Nsiala,i suppose it isn't great to read criticism about our own players,but when you have Woolfenden,Wilson and Chambers(not saying they are great)but all ahead of Toto,then he has to go,as Ipswich has not been a good move for him.
James Norwood,for me,i think he's been a major disappointment,injured or not,looks like a hustle bustle striker,who ruffles up his marker,but any quality in front of goal is minimal,and his final decision in final third is shocking,never thought he was an Ipswich kind of player,so for me it is Yes to cashing in,and it also proves the state of the Scottish Premier Division,if he can get a club at that level(Pub Football in my opinion).
On in-comings,i would hope Remi Matthews isn't a smoke screen,decent keeper,big competition for Thomas Holy,in fact Matthews for me would be 1st choice,but that's me being biased as i personally know Remi,he is or was in talks with Sunderland,but i hope they have fallen through.
On the Richard Keogh rumour,i think best leave that where it is,just a rumour,not wort a punt as he's still injured.
At this point,i may of missed something,but is Tommy Smith still available,or has he returned to New Zealand again,as for me he would be an excellent addition alongside Woolfenden.
One last thing,i hope we keep Downes,but it seems very likely a bid is on the table for him.
Keep the faith all you outstanding supporters,brilliant fans,i'm sure our day will come soon when we have a team on the pitch to be proud of again,but that has to be after Lambert has gone,i hope i'm wrong,but he has been more disappointing than any of the players. |

I have to agree with so much on here on this subject,i do believe PL is a decent human being,just dont think he is the right man to take us forward.
On the Virus,we now have hit nearly 9000 deaths,will go up a lot more than that,we cant say goodbye to our loved ones,no family funerals,its just so sad.
So the comments on here concerning The Open,Wimbledon,Olympics etc,you guys are spot on,there won't be any Football played till August at the earliest,and it hurts me to think the Hierarchy keep spealing us with dates to re-start,football is so irrelevant.
Although i do believe,in the next few days,maybe week or 2,not anymore,they will be left to admit defeat and make it Null and Void,and face up to the consequences,then sadly you will have Football clubs threatening Law Suits,i get that,but for so many people dieing,surely,let's make the country safe and start a new season,when it can,i know it's controversial,but Null and Void is the correct way for me.
The Premier League are in a different world,they don't care about supporters,people's health,they just worry about the money,well they have made it like this,fat money cats in the game,so they have to live with it,i'm probably wrong,as they will try and get it played,but it won't be June and very unlikely to be July. Yes Evans is a big problem,you wont get me arguing about that,but he wont sell,and nobody wants to buy the club anyway,so lets put that to one side.
We have been awful for a while now,yes Lambert inherited a dreadful squad that Paul Hurst put together,and yes we were relegated from the Championship(deservedly so),but Lambert has had a whole pre season with this squad now,hes added a few of his own players,and its just not happening.
To much squad rotation,no players are happy when they play 2 miss 2,its poor management,they now look lost on the pitch,clearly something has gone on behind the scenes,that none of us really know about,but enough is enough,PL has tried and failed,time for a change,before its to late,new manager,fresh ideas,get rid of a few of these bang average players,and keep a settled side,results will improve,and i bet,the club would get quite a few applicants to take over, Lambert has to go,no excuses,his time is up. |

Ive read all of your posts,and all of you are entitled to your opinion,as am i,im 51 years old,have supported the blues all of my football life,and get a little tired of this comment,if you are a true supporter,that we wouldnt be so negative,and we are sitting in 2nd rubbish,which really is a fact,but we need to look at this long term.
We havent won at home in front of us supposedly less loyal fans who moan,we are entitled to moan since Sept 29th,against a total poor Tranmere team.
We havent played well now for 3 months,or more,we keep listening to PL's boring PR stunt that the fans have been brilliant and all the stuff about having more possession,and take a ball into a Phone Box.
He is looking for a way out,his squad rotation is going to cost this club dear if we are not careful,he has tried so many different systems.but more importantly,the football at home is dross,no shots on target yesterday,so lets not give it time,lets get rid. |

Paul Jewell,you should hang your head in shame this morning,you clearly had a chance to regain some respect today by resigning and walk away.
But yet again,you put yourself 1st,you have destroyed our club,we are the laughing stock of the league,the players on Saturday were clearly not playing for you,tactically again you were miles away,Steve Bruce made changes,it was all clear for us to see what was happening,but yet again you failed to sort out the problem,you are an inept manager who is so clearly not right for Ipswich Town.
Onto Marcus Evans,yes i know he saved our club,and i like many are very grateful,BUT Chaps there comes a time when you have to look and see what he has done on the pitch with his decisions since he came to the club.
Sack Jim Magilton sitting 8th (the highest we have been since ME's arrival.
Employ Roy Keane,a big PR stunt that went horribly wrong,Keane never got anywhere near the top half,FAILED and Evans had to SACK him.
Employ Paul Jewell,if we are all honest(that's most of us,not all),he was not the Manager we wanted,but we gave him the benefit of the doubt,at no stage has he had us anywhere near ME's dream of the Play-Offs,in fact not even as high up mas Roy Keane,our football has been average,the lack of youth coming through and being given a chance is minimal,we have 8 players on loan,not even our players,attendances have dropped considerably,so admittedly he saved us at the time Financially,but be honest with yourselves,has he really got the best interests of Ipswich Town,that's our great club,is he realising that Division 1 at the moment is a serious possibility under this regime.
What is he going to do about season ticket prices if we go down,they will have to drop to really keep us all interested,sorry to go on,but this is a real BLACK day for our club,and i wonder if he is now doing it to wind us all up,he must look at other teams/results/table,i don't think he really cares chaps,and that's the biggest hurt of all,we are seeing our great club sink,and the man at the top doesn't really care.
Even Jewell's hardcore of support must of thought this morning he would walk or ME would act,but yet again 100% backing,it's shocking.
Oh and i forgot,then there is Simon Clegg,i need say no more,useless. |

We sit 23rd,1 league win,90th minute winner at Watford,1 home league win since March,
then to top it all we lose at Hull,deservedly so,should of been by more,the manager then says he is considering his future,which is possibly one of the biggest negatives you can say in football.
We all wake up expecting the news we all have dreamed of for weeks,that this clown has gone and NO,he remains in charge.
