I believe MM and TC have the ability to take this club forward but agree with others we are several players short of a team capable of staying in this league let alone going up. I have no doubt MM knows what is needed and probably who he wants. I am concerned Evans will not back him and maybe we will lose this potentially great manager.
Said it before since Evans took over the club has been in decline. Clegg has no idea how to run a football club and between them I really doubt they have the slightest understanding of what a football club means to its fans. I believe we are seen as customers and not supporters.
I think without blinkers everyone can see where we are heading and now it's time for Evans to prove to us all that he wants this club to succeed and back MM in the next 5 days.
If he doesn't I fear the worst. |

Surely if the pitch is playable and there is no chance of it deteriorating like the Boro game last season then it has to take place. Supporters have to make their own decisions if they travel to the match or not. I suspect it will happen but a crowd of less that 13000 will be there. |

Agree he may not play the most entertaining football but its effective and it wins matches. We have endured years of dross with poor results so this is am improvement!
But most important is to get out of the relegation zone and rebuild from there and he could just be the man to do it. |

Agree with previous post that this club needs a change right from the very top to bottom. Yes Jewell may go but who wil come in and what will they be able to do apart from the normal instant lift for a few games, this club has major problems and has since ME took over and I feel will take many many years to put right.
Said it before the club needs leadership at the highest level...and it seems to have none. |

Loach has a lack of confidence so what does the manager do? Goes and signs a keeper who didn't want to come here last year. Brilliant man management that. Most normal managers would spend the international break working with that keeper to boost his confidence.
I sadly have to agree there are only dark days ahead with this constant stream of loans.

As always at the game I give the players and manager my total support. However I am at a loss as to some of the comments which seem to say its ok we played quite well so don't worry that we lost.
Guys wake up and smell the coffee. The league is won and lost on points gained and points are gained by winning or drawing matches. No points for possession, shots on target or hard luck stories. Our inability to score enough goals and to defend is why we are where we are in the league.
And whose fault is that? Surely the blame is with the manger who picks the team and the tactics. Yes players make individual errors but who signed those players? I assume other teams players also make errors but they aren't second from bottom.
This club has gone downhill since ME came in. He sacked Magilton as we were only 8th and of course wanted his high profile manager. Since then we are in free fall. And now he is happy with the way things are going it seems.
Please Mr Evans stop taking us supporters, your customers, for mugs and come out of your anonymity and tell us exactly where you see our once great club going.
But as always I will support those who wear the shirt |

It seems other teams don't find these games meaningless. Also when our players are tired other teams , who play the same number of games as we do, are not tired.
Very poor season and I for one would say this was in fact a typical performance. I can count on one hand the number of really good home performances this season.
The table does not lie and we are where we deserve to be. We have made no progress whatsoever in the past few years under RK and PJ. But most importantly none under the reign do ME and Clegg. Here we are again in the usual end of season contract mess. We have learnt nothing.
I wonder if we can attract any players of real quality for next season...I also wonder if we know who these players are as I have real doubts about out scouting system. We have no real youth policy producing players pushing for the first team, and maybe if we did PJ would not play them. Why have Sonko on the bench when is has already said he is releasing him? Is there not a young defender who could have been there?
I am sure the PR spin will be going all summer and we will end up with some last minute panic loans again and another mediocre season.
But like most people on here I will be there supporting the team !, |

I'm sure the management know the FULL facts and we don't so let's just wait and see why Bullard is suspended and Chopra isn't.
For me I wanted Bullard badly but he has contributed nothing this season. Maybe he is a joker and good for morale but I am sure we could employ a clown for less that £18k per week.
But let's wait and see what actually happened before we judge as in this country we are still all innocent until proven guilty,
