| News Comment | Town Take Up Option on Gerken's Contract at 18:29:36
Good news this, Gerken is a good goalkeeper and will definitely keep Bart on his toes and will provide good cover incase of injury to Bart. |
| News Comment | Chambers: Douglas Abuse Unwarranted and Unacceptable at 18:20:56
I think the booing wasn't entirely aimed at dougie. More when he was subbed on at qpr, fans were booing to show their frustration at the choice of player being subbed on in that game. A negative sub in a winnable game |
| News Comment | Skuse: December a Key Month at 13:16:33
skuse had his best game of the season against QPR last week with dougie alongside him. I'm wasn't a fan of the Skuglous duo but if we now finally have the balance with 2 paces wingers, WARD & LAWRENCE, creative McGoldrick and Varney to do the dirty stuff up top we may be alright this way. Just need them all to take their chances in front of goal. Im not totally convinced we could get 3 goals with these players again but you never know with Town. A gritty 1-0 win away from home would equally be as pleasing when we need to pick up points. Only 3 behind Norwich now... |
| News Comment | Loanee Grant Returns to Everton at 17:01:56
While it's a shame we haven't really got to see the full potential of Grant, maybe it is the best for both sides. He is a good player and if he isn't getting minutes here then there's not much point of us having him. We have Benyu, dozzell, McDonnell waiting in the wings for central midfield. Hyam to come back from injury and Digby can also play a holding role in midfield. No doubt we didn't make the most of Grant but some things don't work out. |
| News Comment | Town Ticket Prices Among Championship’s Highest at 22:24:09
*insert typical 'Mick out' line here* haha In all seriousness though, this is awful from the club especially how they try to justify what they do. Championship football at Portman road is no way near worth £40, not even if we miraculously win 5-0 (unless it's against the scum, then maybe). £20-£25 maximum for adults in all seats would boost attendances. There is no way you can attract fans to turn up when you have to pay the high lest in the league for a team that is currently mid table! |
| News Comment | Webster Suffers Groin Injury at 15:40:53
Positive from this is Emmanuel can continue to prove his quality at RB and keep the pressure on chambers. Since Emmanuel had a couple of games, chambers has upped him game and SCORED 2 goals for us!! |
| News Comment | McGoldrick: Injuries So Frustrating at 08:39:56
quality player and exciting to watch. A couple of times on saturday he brought the balls down and killed them dead with his touch. i hated drawing to rotherham but one positive was we got to see the return of McGoldrick and he proved his class as a footballer and deserved his goal right at the end. |

| News Comment | McGoldrick's Chances of Making Ireland Squad Increase at 22:44:34
Good luck to Dave and murph, would be a good confidence booster going to the euros if they make it! Get behind the lads going to the euros, could both play instrumental roles for us next seasom |
| News Comment | Dozzell Will Start Against Fulham, Skuse Likely to Be Back But Murphy Still Out at 23:49:03
how about this for a team? bart Emmanuel Chambo Smith Knudsen Foley Bru Douglas Dozzell McG Sears would be an interesting approach, would love to see kenlock play but i didn't want to force too many youngsters in. also thought it may be different if douglas plays without skuse? can always sub him at half time... actually feeling optimistic tomorrows game against fulham even if we lose. all this talk of the youngsters being given an opportunity is good for the future of this club. | News Comment | Oar Returns to Brisbane at 18:13:03
Good luck Tommy oar! Shame it didn't work out earlier but best of luck! |
| News Comment | McCarthy Set to Stick With Bart at 10:41:33
I think micks handled the gk situation a lot better than what people have made out, gerken wasn't that bad in goal and it would be harsh to drop him when he did save us a number of times. I agree Bart is the better keeper but I wouldn't say that there's a lot of difference between the two especially when gerken is in form. However it's great news that bart wants to extend his contract and mick does too, it can be worrying when two players (parr and oar) both want to leave the club so when a player who has been on the bench a lot this season wants to extend his contract, it shows that the club hasn't lost its man management skill and players do still want to fight for their place! |
