Murphy Not Keen on Sunderland Return
at 19:44:43

Wickets - God bless yer, i have watched the goal many times and can't believe that Healy's run has not been mentioned more. It was no coincedence that when Healy entered the fray yesterday, the scunny defence started to struggle to clear thier lines as easily has they had all afternoon simply because his movement off the ball was pulling the scunny central defence all over the place and induviduals into areas they did not want to be.

Keane Delighted for Wickham
at 21:45:55

Always admired Adkins and what he had achieved at Scunthorpe before today, but that was ugly. If a better footballing justice has been served this season when Wickham scored that goal then i have not seen it.
One of this seasons few highlights as the Town players celebrate while the Scunny team fall to their knees in disbelief all over the pitch. Priceless.

Worthington: Healy Has a Long Way to Go
at 18:54:54

Give the lad a chance and he will become a town legend. It sounds all too easy, a club is short of goals, go and buy a 20 goal a season striker. 2 other clubs in the championship, QPR and Coventry have both been in the same position recently, both clubs have a reasonable transfer budget, they had to make do with Priskin and Stead. One goal in 3 games doesn't mean 20 a season, but it does average over 15. that could be 15 of our previous draws this season converted into wins.

Healy Reported to Want to Stay With Town
at 12:57:55

The quick link up play between Healy and Murphy was the only thing close to a highlight in a shocking first half yesterday, we must learn to play into Healy's feet more though, and they would both benefit from a more natural wide left midfielder, far too often in the first half yesterday, everything came down the right hand side, making life very predictable and eassy for the Bristol City defence.
Pablo and Wickham did look good yesterday, but then, they both know that they have strong competition for their places upfront now.
I did notice that Haines has not improved, all that pace and still no clue how to use it to good effect.

New Duo Looking for Games and Goals
at 21:00:58

The only team that Healy has been given a consistent starting place for in the last few seasons is Northern Ireland. Not a bad goals return rate there. Why do so many Town fans search so high and low for negatives?

Colback\'s Loan Rubber-Stamped

i like the way Bruce tries to convince everyone that colback is part of his future plans at this early stage, thus adding to his valuation come the end of the season.

Keane: We Could Have Scored Seven
at 14:53:56

Interesting to see that Watford are reported to be prepared to listen to offers for Ellington for £300,000 in January. May be able to offload Lisbie to Colchester and buy him and make a profit.

Keane: We Could Have Scored Seven
at 20:47:29

UEFA 81 - unbelievable comment, like yourself i was lucky enough to be bought up on that great team and also enjoyed those many memorable european nights it WAS a great team, but it was also nearly 30 years ago, at a time when Town were punching way above their weight. Those days gave us a history that we should all be proud of but the chances of any team emulating such triumphs solely from a youth policy are long gone.

This is a time to look forward, the club is being rebuilt from the boardroom to the pitch to suit modern day football requirements with the foundations to provide long term stability rather than just falling into the trap of so much outside investment in football today of gaining promotion at all costs, becoming one season wonders and falling and fading back into oblivion. Keep the good work up everyone.

An obvious improvement in the last few weeks, a couple of additions to the squad, how about Norris and Civelli?

Club Dismiss Keane Exit Claim
at 14:08:03

Personally i do not think sacking keane would be the correct decision right now, but the decision is down to one man, Mr. Evans. How long will he allow his name to be associated with failure in the press? However, if you remember when Jim was sacked, the replacement was already in place. Maybe when as the report sais "meetings took place on sunday", these meetings were more along these lines and the targeted replacement has not been found.
And as for the BBC who reported ITFC as the Norfolk club this morning, you stupid, tihck bunch of £%@#$!!!!!

Don't want to worry anyone, but i did notice an unusually high stock of umbrellas in the club shop recently.

he would be a high profile appointment, but unfortunately in the same way that any comedian would. I have visions of him arriving to his first press conference in a small car that all the doors fall off as he pulls up, whilst emerging wearing a top hat with a daffodil on top. ME please refute all connections with ITFC and this clown.

Keano is the future, time we let him know this i think.

Keane Angry at Reporters
at 08:07:10

I don't think that any change now would benefit anybody, it takes alot longer than a dozen games to rebuild a football club. However, i am also not sure how long the Marcus Evans empire can allow themselves to be linked with a club at the bottom of the league for their own publicity purposes. The Steve Maclaren story seems way of the mark, a reporter claiming to know the thoughts of a man that most people don't even know the identity of. If ME was to change manager soon, i think he would be looking at a manager that has previus premiership, championship and international experience that would give high profile publicity and available for management now. has anyone read the Keegan hasn't ruled out a return to management story.

I am not saying this move would be right, in fact the thought of it worries me, but when you look at the facts, it might be worth a punt at the bookies.

Campbell Held Town Talks Last Week?
at 18:39:48

I see the notts county website still lists campbell as a current player while the players list has recently been amended to include a player they have signed since campbellgate. This may sugest he is still under contract and available for loan now. Surely it has to be worth a shot, what could possibly go wrong???????
