Great result. Thank you for the excellent report. And it's great to see so much interest and support for the academy side. |

Did Thfc academy elect category 1 ? There are some issues surrounding their thoughts on reserve squads. There is also the thought of the extra staff, infrastructure , education hours, reserve team status and the change in laws surrounding compensation for players wanting to move clubs. Playing category 1 academies means that all the big clubs can see what players you're holding and tempt them away for a much smaller fee. |
| News Comment | Cropper Saves Penalty on U18s Return at 20:28:12
Cropper had a commanding game. The penalty involved him colliding with their striker. Hardly an appeal. It was dubious to say the least. Both fowler and hammond looked composed and settled at this level . Ipswich created loads of chances and should've have win by more , hitting the bar once . Bhams goal came from a piece of individual skill from outside the box with Ipswich failing to close down a player late on. Promising performance from the u18s |

Ipswich should have win this - they created the more chances and hit the bar . |
| News Comment | U18s Back to Action Against Portsmouth at 18:12:52
2-2 Ipswich had the more chances and are for me, in terms of talent, the better side and really should have won. Marriott, gunner and Byron all played well. |

Watching the u18s is far more enthralling than watching the firsts. There's nice football played, vision, support, players desperate to get the ball , imaginative and creative |
| News Comment | U18s 2-0 Leeds United at 22:36:25
Superb performance...whight, byron, timlin, marriot, jones, all superb. Connor also sound. Great result, and good to see a decent crowd supporting this side. Periods of lovely football displayed as well. Well done all. |
