This season is clearly going to be all over the place for a lot of teams. Like us Leicester lost after a good first week. Reading won after struggling last week. Forest struggled etc etc etc
To be honest i would like to see more round pegs in round holes. Jet prefers to play behind the front man so lets try it ! Probably won;t happen cause Priskin is clearly out of favour but would love to see him up front with Chopra.
Anyway, early days ..... Onward and upward ! |

Yep, so far so good. One of the most pleasing aspects for me is the form of the much maligned Leadbitter. Sounds like he had a great game. Hope it continues as it will be like having another new player as has happened with Lee Martin.

I have been banging on, on here, about how we desperately need a quality keeper to do anything this season. It would instill a confidence throughout the team.This could be a good move although it would be a worry that he could be recalled at any time.
If we use the opportunity while we keep looking for a permenant signing lets do it and hope this is not anather let down. |

This is disappointing news. I liked the look of the lad & thought he was a good prospect. However, as mentioned earlier, the fact that he wants to move on to lower divisions would indicate that he doesn't have the confidence in himself.
Then again maybe all is not rosy in camp Ipswich . I expected players to go but not this one.

So, the reason you were unable, in two years, to put together a team that could compete in the Championship was because Ipswich are the wrong type of club.
.... And the reason you made bad million pound signings, that you then fell out with and/or loaned out was because you didn't meet the CEO before you signed ....
