| News Comment | Town Confirm Wilson Signing at 12:49:50
Fine by me, likely to only play a handful of games. Could just be tomorrow if Lambert goes with Chambers and Woolfenden until Toto is back. Some experience in the dressing room can't be a bad thing |
| News Comment | Town Confirm Hurst Appointment at 11:54:30
Welcome Paul! Now it's time for everyone to back the new manager and hopfully we can bring back some of the joy to Portman Road. I'm quietly optimistic about this! |
| News Comment | Town Extend Adidas Deal for Four Years at 12:53:28
Agree with the majority, big fan if Adidas kits but will never buy a shirt with a gambling brand in it. I got myself this year's shirt at a discount, solved my problem! |
| News Comment | Kuqi: Why I Want to Be Town Boss at 11:47:31
I think we need more people like Shefki at the club, fill the place with people who bleed blue. As for making him the next manager, I have serious doubts. He's saying all the right things but I'm not sure about the track record |
| News Comment | Town Confirm Klug Caretaker-Manager at 09:09:25
All the best Bryan! Looking forward to some youngsters getting some minutes. The U23's have been my main source of optimism this year, we've got some talent there for sure |
| News Comment | Lincoln City 1-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 22:59:52
Sure, freak results happen in the FA cup, and I would have accepted that. What I can't accept is how we were completely outclassed man for man by a National League side! Well done Lincoln, you deserved that. |
| News Comment | AFC Bournemouth 2-2 Town at 19:36:37
7 points from Wolves, Watford and Bournemouth is a great return! Let's keep this momentum going! COYB |
| News Comment | Williams Set for Town Return at 21:14:44
great (potentia) signing, especially considering many fans (including myself) were bemoaning our lack of creativity in the middle during the summer. Hyam, skuse, collison, williams and (hopefully) bishop are all quality players for this division. Full faith in our management for the first time in a while and we have striker that actually score goals! :P Interesting to see how our wide players (anderson, henshall and stewart etc) will fit in to this side but I'm not complaining! | News Comment | McCarthy Would Take Williams Back at the Drop of a Hat at 08:54:48
Williams is a class act who would have the capacity to win games for us if brought him. I do think he's better attacking from deeper though, saw the Bournemouth match and he looked most dangerous running at players, not onto balls in behind. Williams + Mcgoldrick would be something exciting though :D |
| News Comment | McCarthy Set to Make Changes at Birmingham at 19:48:33
Loach Hewitt-Smith-Chambo-Cressy Anderson-Skuse-Tunny-Tabb McGoldrick-Taylor(if fit)/Nouble personally was impressed by tunnicliffe against leeds even though he was on the wing. We know anderson can put in a great delivery (seen against Millwall) and should get a shot. Up front, we lacked pace against Leeds and would like to see Taylor show he can be the match winner (or nouble if fit). Fortunately (for once) the back for needs no work :) (although Loach needs to pick it up a bit). Should be getting the points against birmingham if we've got actual play-off hopes. COYB |
| News Comment | McCarthy Weighing Up Changes at 15:20:40
Hyam, Edwards and Murphy replaced by Tunnicliffe, Anderson and Taylor maybe? I'm still optimistic about this season though, we've had a tough start but we'll start winning soon! |
| News Comment | McCarthy: QPR Are the Team to Beat at 11:53:22
QPR have great individuals but the way we play under mick has the potential to massively frustrate them. They drew with Huddersfield last week so we have the potential to do as well as that if not better. Nonetheless, it will be arguably the hardest test of the season. Best of luck, COYB! |
| News Comment | U21s Face Colchester at 16:12:20
great news about the reading match - the better the team play the more fans will turn up :) Looking forward to seeing Portman Road buzzing again by the end of the season! COYB :) |
