I think there are 2 persistent arguments on this page. Formation doesn't really matter that much - whether its 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 ultimately it will be the same players.
I think the youth really needs to be brought into the team but the fact that Jewell has pretty much stuck with his philosophy shows he knows what he's doing. Jewell out claims are ridiculous, if you look at his previous records adapting the club to his own style usually takes a toll on the first 12 months. I doubt it was ever about this season for him. And for people moaning about the "quick fix" over the summer he didn't really have any other choice, when your 3 best players leave you need to bring in players and when transfers broke down he didn't have a huge choice in who he did finally bring in. |

I can't believe the rubbish coming out from people on this page, how have we gone backwards since Keane's era, Keane is the reason we are still playing like this, his short-sightedness caused important players to go on a free and Jewell had to replace him quickly, Yeah the defence needs some stabilising but once that's done who knows what could happen. Jewell won't change his philosophy that has got 2 teams promoted because of a few bad results, Give PJ time and I'm sure he'll sort it out. COYB |

I sit in the cobbold stand near the north stand and I've found that the cobbold actually has better view and atmosphere than the north stand upper, and when me and a few others were singing in the cobbold a few of the zombies joined in so maybe you're not speaking for everyone there |

That is bollocks, against wolves they benched four of there first team players before bringing on 3 of them in the second half, the only reason we lost was because of an unlucky deflection and a joke penalty, against Northampton it was basically Ipswich reserves v Northampton reserves, and who cares Hull are a good championship side, they'll probabl be right up there. I agree about backing the team all game rather than when we're winning though, even though you have said you prefer to watch a game in silence it's time for all fans to change that attitude and make it an atmosphere to be proud of. |
