Hollman Joining Cardiff
Hollman Joining Cardiff
Friday, 15th Jul 2011 22:41

TWTD understands that former Blues keeper-coach James Hollman has joined the staff at Cardiff City. Hollman left Portman Road at the end of last season and was recently replaced by Malcolm Webster, who previously held the position during George Burley's time as manager.

Cardiff boss Malky Mackay will know former Blues academy player Hollman well from his time as goalkeeper-coach at Norwich City.

Felixstowe-based Hollman, 33, came through the ranks at Portman Road and was on the first team bench on a number of occasions but without making a senior appearance before he moved into non-league.

After spells working with Norwich’s academy and then with their senior keepers, he was brought back to Portman Road by Jim Magilton in 2008.

Perhaps he can take time out from his duties to persuade Peter Whittingham that ITFC is where his future lies!

Poor Cardiff? You lot are unreal! Have any of you ever actually seen James coach? Thought not.

If Fulop at 27 years old having played for Man City, Tottenham and his country still doesn't know to come off his line on corners then there is probably a reason for it.

All the best.Read else where that sharp has a price tag of 3.25m if this is the case then i think town should do it, as i actually think he would like to be at ipswich and his comments after knocking back southampton seem to bare this out and almost seemed like a come and get me. Any real news?

40yearsablue what an idiotic and disrespectful comment. I look forward to hearing from you when you have created a website that is more informative than this one, otherwise button it or ship out!

I was hoping to read that Billy Sharp was on his way this morning, oh well. What a strike pairing him and Chops would make. I know people on here want some height and I can see their perspective but PJ is going to demand that we play the ball to feet. If crosses do come in then I'm sure these two would still score with their head as timing and positioning can be more important than raw height. I'm a bit disappointed that it's gone quiet on the Koumas link, he's free and would add so much creativity to the side imo.

ps. I'm hoping that our wide midfielders (whoever they might be) cut in alot this season to support the strikers, as I believe that Cresswell and Edwards will be overlapping to great effect and provide the width.
