Town and Portsmouth are reportedly targeting Cardiff’s Welsh international defender Darcy Blake. The Blues were previously mentioned in connection with the 23-year-old in November when manager Paul Jewell dismissed the claim.

Speaking then, Jewell said: “He’s not one we’ve mentioned. I’m not saying he’s not a good player but he’s not one I’ve asked about.”
