Are we really living in these times? The Lego Batman Movie? Crossovers like this shouldn't make it past Partridge's dictaphone.

The thing that worries me most is that I know there are other Lego movies out there. This simply cannot become a new thing. Lego is not a genre of film.

I know - I found that out the hard way. We had barely been out of the cinema for 10 minutes before my lad was pleading with me to go to Toys R Us. Ended coming out of there with a batman set, two traffic police sets and a pirate ship. This wouldn't have happened if we had gone to watch Despicable Me 3 or even the Tupac biopic. Lego should not be allowed to make films.
