West Ham 2003-4 20:44 - Aug 26 with 1359 views

Fulham remind me a bit of West Ham in the 2003/4 season - a team we just didn't have the beating of, despite us probably being better than 20 other teams in the league. Some times you come up against teams like that - I just hope we don't face Fulham in the play offs as the last three results suggest more disappointment (although making the play offs would be pretty impressive!).

Except we beat them twice that season, and were as good as them in all four games.

Today Fulham made us look like a League One side. Not even close to being on that level, it was embarrassing to be frank. We're in for a big reality check coming up.

There is probably more pant-wetting, over-analysing and self-wallowing on here for a 2-0 defeat at home to Fulham than us getting knocked out of the play offs by Norwich.

Some people need to get a grip ffs.
