Worth 15mins of your time going through his posts today if numbers are your thang - Guthers especially.

Most of the info is compiled from the 16/17 season.
But there's some interesting graphs with us in there - for example wages compared to our turnover.
(We are pretty much smack bang in the middle for that)

#CardiffCity financial results for 2016/17 covered their third consecutive season in the Championship following relegation from the Premier League, when they finished 12th, before securing promotion under Neil Warnock this season. Some thoughts in the following thread.

A few things that stood out were payments on external debt here:

Although debt is high in the Championship, most of it is provided by owners who charge little or no interest. Â£80m of Tanâ€™s loan is interest-free; other Â£35m theoretically charged at 7%, but interest has been waived. Tormen loan has 8% interest rate. pic.twitter.com/AjXWBbj83N

Spending on players last season:

#CardiffCity spent Â£6m on players in 16/17, in the lower half of the Championship. They were significantly outspent by Aston Villa Â£88m, Wolves Â£32m and Fulham Â£24m. Wage bills for 2016/17:

#CardiffCity Â£29m wage bill is 8th highest in Championship of clubs that have reported to date, but a long way behind Villa Â£61m & Norwich Â£55m (and probably #NUFC when they publish accounts). This shows #CardiffCity determination to reduce the wage bill to more manageable levels, especially as they had the 3rd highest wage bill in the Championship in 15/16 (only behind QPR & Fulham). Looking at these figures, Villa really need to go up this season, if not there'll be real trouble.

As for Naaarich, they remind me of Town post Burley era, could be problems for them in the near future, I don't think Farke will get them up.

Norwich cut a lot of them wages last summer when they released a whole load of players. There is however still a short fall this year of around 15m that they’ll need to cover. Presumably from the sale of Maddison
