PL thought it was enough just picking whatever players/formation etc to get us promoted. IMO we've been struggling to put a performance in all season despite being top of the league for most of it.
We've been getting away with it with other teams missing chances and not being punished for mistakes made by us.
Most teams now are playing themselves in now with settled formations with players getting to know each other and the other managers working with their teams as like us most would have had plenty of new personnel.
But not us we keep constantly chopping and changing to try and keep everyone happy which is clearly causing the problem of players not really knowing whose jobs are what no fluidity cohesion etc.
PL shows his weakness by not knowing what formation of style of play to have. He needs to make a decision stick and work with it forget the rotation (no point if mid table in latter part of the season). Just to add to that which doesn't make sense he doesn't rotate our oldest player in Skuse so he bleats on about burnout later on but does this not apply to him as well?!
He needs to stop wasting places in the squad - on Sunday he was never going to use Keane or Huws and last night he said he wouldn't risk Downes so why have him there. What message does that send out to the other lads missing from the squad.
Needs to ditch the arrogant holding hands celebration which most do when when winning a major cup comp not just beating Gillingham or whoever after 10 games into the season.
Fair play to Rotherham it was men against boys last night.
