Every appointment he's made (except for Hurst) has been about one man having a track record - i.e. got promotion before from the league we're currently in. When's he going to realise that it's not about one man, it's about the entire club setting the right standards. If you pick a style for your club, just like Sheff U, Huddersfield, Scum, Bournemouth, Swansea all did, and all got good success (yes I know some aren't doing well now, but I'm talking about the fact they all rose from League One to the Prem), then it's not as important who you get in to manage the team, as all the players and infrastructure that suit your style are already there. | |
