Was as expected.

It's great that the EADT have taken this stance - it really ramps up the pressure - but ME was hardly going to come out and say in response: "You're right, Lambert will be clearing his desk in the morning."

My big concern is that the longer we wait to pull the trigger (which feels inevitable now), the less chance we have of getting someone with a decent calibre, like Cook or the Cowleys. Worried they'll get snapped up elsewhere. Would have had Lee Johnson, to be fair, too
