no offence will cost you fifty pence...... on 08:12 - Sep 8 by ericclacton
Oh, thank you very much for letting me know. By the way has he ever paid at the gate?
First verse according to Gary Barlow (Take That), Tony Wright (Terrorvision) and Phill Jupitus on the music-themed British comedy panel show Never Mind the Buzzcocks (series 2 episode 2)
A Ginster wall of a savoury low-fat cake We are the bag ladies of the sea Bright arse is a plan of beautiful bits Sometimes a donkey you will see. We've reached the land of Hull - bring mangoes from the boats And then talk Vortex student braille You know the feel and smell of chili from that night A lemon slice and savoury whale! Open the gate!

Brilliant, by the way i know that you are tuned in, but after the death of Brian Jones multi-instrumentalist, the Stones completely lost their top end and that really upset me to the point of having 18 nervous breakdowns, you see what i'm trying to say is the so called Rolling Stones fans just could not hear that because he was replaced with pretty ordinary although good guitarists the original sound was lost gone never to be heard again.

For some reason I have never sat down with 'Aftermath' and listened to it start to finish, then listened again, concentrating on one instrument and then another, looking up lyrics and so on. 'Beggars Banquet' I go back to time and again. Maybe I should make 'Aftermath' a high priority on my to do list...
I have family connections to the Sidcup / Dartford area and can see that post war environment that The Stones were breaking out of, also my first employer had been to college with Keith Richard and gave me the advice that should I ever meet him remember to count your fingers after you shake his hand. This assessment has been confirmed by a neighbour who used to work at the Manchester Free Trade Hall but she says Mick and Bill were nice, decent men, Charlie was just a little bored and fed up with the circus of it all. Brian was too shy to get to know on even a casual basis.
Shane MacGowan says he had an, undiagnosed, nervous breakdown at an early age in this intruiging documentary on the iPlayer (only available for another three days):
When you see the amount of alcohol that his family and friends were letting a young boy imbibe it is not surprising that was the case. The man is a mess but a really interesting mess
