I think we need Mr Ashton to pull off one more vital signing and that is to convince John Mcgreal to come in as Cook’s number 2.

Replacing Cook is not the answer at this stage the majority of the players are here to play for him therefore we need to do whatever it takes to secure Mcgreal.

Ticks all the boxes, scouse, Town legend and he could defend.

Please Mr Ashton make this happen.
