What a totally insipid, pedestrian and gutless display that was. Who in this side actually gives their all, it looks as if we have replaced a squad full of over paid and over rated footballers with exactly the same. The amount of times there was a tackle to be made, a block to be had and our players just did nothing, no-one puts their body on the line, no one looks like they really care that much, just pick up your wage and move on.
This had everything a Lambert side had, no urgency, no bite, no spark just cruising through a game and doing the bare minimum, so so poor.
A side hoping to challenge for promotion (laughable) will get no where with the likes of Nsiala and Clements at the back, and Celina moment of class for the goal aside was again terrible.
I'm just at a loss with this team at the moment, are the players again too pampered as this seems to be the only thing that can't have changed??
I'm a big Cook fan, but if he tries to dress this up ala Lambert, I'm done. |  |
