Gutted I couldn’t get a ticket in the lower North. Can any
one confirm if the upper north has generally become louder because of an overspill of people unable to get tickets in the lower?
Even the Churchman’s lower was pretty packed, with the only decent sets of available seats being ok the first few rows, which I always find really crap

It was packed and very vociferous in section 3 against Bolton. Having said that, I think part of the problem is that is often not clear in the Upper what those in the Lower are singing because of the overhang, so this may mean not every section is singing with the same voice.
