All these people acting shocked at town being 5th favourites for promotion and then saying they'd take 21st make me laugh! Doesn't anyone else think, like me, that this squad (with a little more investment to come too) is actually already better than many of the teams we had when we finished mid table in the championship? Add to that the momentum, manager, packed portman rd. and further investment and i dont see any reason why we couldn't be right up there this season (especially if piggot is linking up with chaplin and taking the pressure of the spotlight off Morsy) |  | | |  |

I don't think many posters will be that happy if we end up in a long relegation battle. I think most posters would be perfectly ok with 10th-15th though. Mid-table would be a good result next season. Why do you think the return of Pigott is the answer? He's a hard working player, but wasn't prolific for us or Pompey in League 1. |  |
