You have to know how to get the ref onside - especially the refs outside the top few who are clueless and get conned all the time. And nothing will be done about it.

The turning point was the ref missing the red card elbowing of Chappers - he lost control - at that point the BBC said it's getting tasty out there. Someone called it on the Chatroom at HT. 'He's desperate to give them a pen'. Lo and behold, it didn't take long.
