Overall probably the worst we’ve ever played under McKenna. We hardly strung 5 passes together until the last few minutes and the quality of football was not what we’ve got used to in recent years. I’ve seen a lot of comments about Birmingham sitting back or changing tactics after they went in front and that they handed the momentum to us. I don’t see it like that. We changed our approach, made some bold subs (who wasn’t moaning when Al~Hamedi ended up wide right after Clarke went off?). Young for Johnson was definitely needed and had a big impact. Chaplin was excellent, Humphreys got on the ball as soon as he came on and Broadhead looked a threat. Poor performance, not pretty to watch but KM shows yet again why he’s such a great manager.
