No real stand out in this generation, but PSG were superb, and he was a big part of it.

Being French must help, particularly if his competition for the Ballon d’Or from PSG (given their achievements) is a Georgian (i.e. less ‘fashionable’, sadly).

I would have given it to Hakimi - he was the big difference maker I saw in several of their games to winning the CL. But he's a right back I don't think my opinion was an overly popular one!!
