A week late but needs a mention all the same, a one time Clopton resident and I was there when he sat in with The Orwell String Band at the Foresters Arms in Chelmondiston. Sadly a Chelsea supporter rather than Town but he did have the excuse of playing junior football for them.

We used to drive out to the now defunct, Clopton Crown pub, where Danny would regularly play on a Wednesday(?) evening with a few mates. A huge talent, a down to earth guy, and a sad loss.

Another member of the superb Pentangle has left us.

I also remember him as a witty and entertaining MC, for Fairport Convention's Cropredy festival back in the 1990's and 2000's.
