After 20 years, I’ve finally carved out a weekend for myself and even managed to get the green light from my wife to head back to PR. I’ll be travelling up from Cornwall overnight on Thursday, then spending Friday wandering the streets of Ipswich, soaking in the nostalgia and revisiting old haunts, though I suspect many of the bars I remember have long since disappeared.
Now, I’ve got two key questions:
1. Where’s the best spot for atmosphere on Saturday before the game? I don’t want to miss out!
2. Any recommendations for a decent place to grab a few drinks on Friday night? Just looking to pass the time and ease into the weeked - or that is what I’m telling my good lady! |  |
