Yeah I meant with the benefit of hindsight. Had he had the injuries he's had at Leeds for example, they probably reintegrate him at the first opportunity as he's their big horse to back. The problem at a Man City is by the time you're fit after that lay off they've spent another £100m and you're toast. I don't disagree the decision at the time was fine, in another world he could've gone there, stayed fit, become a mainstay and been the Fernandinho successor I think he was viewed as. |  |
