I imagine many supporters have made their feelings known by writing to the club over the last few days, yet the club have failed to respond. Mark Ashton could help put this sorry episode to bed, if he were to address the fans, and issue an apology.
What are people's thoughts on creating a petition on change.org to apply pressure? This us something which could be shared widely and get media attention.

You think players, agents. Sponsors, coaches. Managers, the whole football community will also brush it under the carpet??
This will KILL our club and ability to compete. And mostly silently too!!
You will need to grow a pair and STAND UP FOR OUR VALUES our club and identity and we WILL need to deal with this.
What’s the opposite of running towards adversity? THAT.
If we don’t deal with this. The destruction of our brand equity and commercial appeal, will slowly destroy this club, there a reason no club has ever done this. Even Refirm lovers won’t touch us with a barge poll (commercially) if you have something to sell, and everyone in football is their own brand now, you CANT touch us.., we are TOXIC
So NO. This isn’t going away or being brushed under the carpet as a bad day at the office!!!
So maybe a petition is a good idea…, we need action…, an apology, and Ashton gone.
As long as he stays, we are a toxic brand. And if you don’t think that’s important…, see how you feel back in league one - you can’t be successful without players, managers. Coaches, sponsors. And supporters! (Globally) it ost possible!!!

Ashton gone, are you having a laugh? We'd still be in League one without his leadership and him appointing Mckenna. This will get brushed under the carpet, most 'scandals' do in big organisations.
