| Season Ticket Ballot 10:52 - Jul 20 with 7633 views | Billywitch | Has anyone else been lucky in the Season Ticket Ballot? Speaking to a friend at a charity football match yesterday, he was something like 450th on the waiting list, but got an email saying he'd been picked in the ballot to be able to purchase a season ticket for the coming season. Didn't believe him to start with - as I assumed that the point of having a waiting list means if you are 1st 2nd 3rd etc you'll be contacted if/when people cancel, and you'll have first refusal - however, he went on to show me the emails from the club saying he had been picked from a ballot. | | | | |

| Season Ticket Ballot on 14:06 - Jul 22 by algo | I posted earlier about being 199th in the queue. I have just spoken on the phone to the ticket office. She said that a small but limited number of tickets have been made available, the numbers generated in the queue are in the correct order that they will be contacting people on. So they have started at number 1 and moved on from there. The number of tickets did not reach 199 which is why we have not been allocated and stated that anyone claiming to have been offered a season ticket at a higher number in the queue was giving false information, ( although I appreciate someone on here saw an email that said differently.) When I questioned about next year and finding out what number I will be once the new allocation have accepted the season tickets on offer she replied. We won’t be randomly allocated a new number ( in my case 199 ) will not be changed except to come down by the number of season tickets allocated this season. I won’t find out that number until the end of the season ticket window renewal window in Spring/Summer 2027. The only way to stay on the waiting list is to renew the memberships for this year which I have done, and after that it’s just sit and wait time. I hope that helps ! |
I have also spoken to the ticket office via email and got a very similar reply. "Good morning, Tom, Thank you for your email. Yes, when season tickets are available those with the lowest numbers will be contacted first. Those who were successful have already been contacted and have already purchased I’m afraid. Unfortunately, we only had a very small number of season tickets available this summer. Kind regards," That was the first reply I got about season tickets, I then asked if the queue position would change as a result of people purchasing and this is what I got back "Good morning, Tom, Thank you for your reply. We haven’t confirmed if we will send out updated queue numbers just yet, they may just be kept as their current numbers as your order in the queue will stay the same. We may look to add this to your online account in the future, but nothing has been confirmed yet I’m afraid." Me and my son are 271 in the queue and have both been given that number. I feel this is very much a 'sprat to catch a mackerel' the club have got fans where they want them now, 6000 people on the ST waiting list, all having to renew the membership just to stay on the list, a new waiting list is now coming also, just a money making thing. The ballot system was awful when we were last in the PL, we had two successful ballots across the whole season, no loyalty shown to fans or anything, funny the amount of people that went off the scene when we were last relegated and even tickets started to become easier in the PL when things started going wrong. I will just be going to the odd game this season, not going to mad, realistically how many of the 21,000 season ticket holders are ever going to give them up, especially if we retain PL status and stay up. | | | |
