Set Piece Coach AND a Set Piece Analyst 11:42 - Jul 27 with 1479 viewsIllinoisblue

Overkill much? Couldn’t we just ask Aluko to come up with a couple of corner routines? How did clubs ever cope without these positions? And what does a set piece analyst do all day? Like how is that a full-time job?

Yes I am an old man shouting at the sky. Carry on.

Did Coventry and Arsenal play the game to achieve these set pieces by any chance? Covebtry fudnt seem to do so much in open play i thought. Thru gane just seemed to revolved around corners, free kicks and break aways

From what I saw, Coventry played decent, open football last season. The team that looked like a dead ball team were Millwall - 2 huge centre backs, very organised, happy to knock it long. They were 3rd in set play goals last season, behind Coventry & Southampton. Those 2 seemed to have a lot more to offer; Millwall, not much.
