I’m not at all in the know about how different parts of the U.K. will see their immediate futures or whether any such considerations are entirely dependent on Brexit.

Has the U.K. become politically sectarian, the division being Leave or remain? Is that what will define the election and the U.K. future?

Whatever comes of the U.K. or Brexit, hopefully all on these islands of GB and Irl will recognise the importance of a common friendship and bond. That even if Scotland the brave should take her freedom, and the island of Ireland unites, that a bond and common friendship and purpose will remain.
