Miserable times being a Ipswich Town supporter 17:28 - Feb 8 with 371 viewsTheTrueBlue1878

A really miserable day.

A good first half, but a polar opposite second half. The difference today was the same as last week, and it’s what every team needs, a little big of magic and quality and I’m afraid our team is starved of any real flair or quality.

The lack of quality can be summed up via three moments in the game:
- Ball rolling under Chambers boot and out of play
- Norwoods terrible technique for the free kick
- Wilson standing on the ball and face-planting the floor

Was concerned with Kenlock and Donacien, as I’m not sure they offer enough going forward. Thought Skuse did well today but as a midfield three do they really create enough.

Not a massive fan of 5-3-2 as I don’t think there’s a good balance to it. But I think formations can be forgotten when you have managers and players who lack so much ability. However I think you get what you pay for.

It’s a stretch for play-offs for me, and I don’t think we deserve nor good enough to go up. Dark times as a Town fan.

Poll: Would you be happy with Paul Lambert?
