I think the one thing we can all agree on (except for our resident friendly Norfolk poster) is that we want to see Ipswich do well and want what is best for our team.
Ever since I was 8 when I started wearing the shirt and pretending I was Matt Holland in my garden, to every game on football manager I started with Ipswich, mesmerised by seeing the blue shirt on screen, to watching results come in with my dad on Ceefax, to buying my first season ticket and finally being an adult with town firmly in my veins, it’s just so desperately sad.
That’s the most I can feel. And even that will slowly be replaced with apathy.
I’ll still go and will always love my team. But I really miss my team. |  |
