Ayr were a bit unlucky to lose last night, the penalty that won it for Hearts was called out as a wrong decision by co-commentator James McFadden and his reasoning seemed sound. Ndaba was busy and looked to be commanding in his shouting and pointing to teammates but also always looked to have a mistake in him, got booked for a clumsy challenge and may even have got a second yellow for another one later if the referee had been as strict then as he had been over the penalty. But he played the full ninety three minutes and looks to be getting good experience, think he will come back to Town much improved. McGavin did get some game time but only the final quarter of an hour and made no noticeable impact on the game, there again he only just got to Ayr so could be an indication that he can expect a first team place for the rest of the season if he performs. Also looks to have bulked up a bit in readiness for the Scottish Championship. | |
