I’m sure it’s the mentality that’s instilled into this club. Bartosz and Mcgoldrick both made comments when they left along the lines of “there is no pressure to do well” and it’s absolutely spot on. Year after year, every failure is just accepted with no punishment.
Relegated from the Championship, it’s accepted and ‘we go again’. Finish 11th in League One and it’s accepted ‘we go again next year’.
For the record, I’m not pinpointing on specific players as everybody has played their part, but the sooner Cook can clear out this heap of sh!t and get some hardworking trustworthy players in, the better. Unfortunately, that includes saying goodbye to Chambers, Skuse, Sears, Ward, Huws and all of the other senior players that have contributed to this failure. |  |
