Saw an interesting discussion on players on Twitter, which I'd never seen, where their average performances over the course of half a dozen games could be given as faces on a dice. For example, someone like Mick Stockwell would have faces that were 3, 4, 4, 4, 5 and 6. He never rolled a 1 or 2, most of the time he was just above average, had a lot of good games and his poor ones were at worst average. Morsy is more of a Stockwell. Walton is a 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6 kind of guy. Kenlock was a 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4 at best. Got me thinking about Celina and how people view him given all the talk about him and whether he's brilliant or flatters to deceive. For me he's a 2, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5. Above average. Never terrible. Never runs the show. But frequent bits of quality that elevate him well above average most of the time. 23/36. Average of just under 4. Seems about right? What score would others give him? Given Morsy for me is a 26 and Walton a 28 then it's not hard to expect Celina could easily reach 26/28 with at least one quality striker to convert what he creates. No brainer for me if a deal can be done for Celina, that it gets done. [Post edited 17 Jun 2022 11:58]
