He's been here, there and everywhere for 10 years unable to be extradited back to the USA and Priti Patel gets involved and the next thing you know he's heading back there.
I know what he's accused of and why the US wanted him back. But is this a case of he's entitled to protection and it's been provided until she intervened and fed him to the dogs or is it the case he's gotten away with something for far too long and, for once, she's actually right to want to send someone somewhere else.

Regarding Patel's involvement, she's just signed off on it after the High Court dismissed Assange's appeal. More procedural than interference.
Assange now has the opportunity to appeal against that, so this is by no means over. |  |
