Whenever I get doubts about our new style of English test cricket, it continues to bring success. (first innings, felt short, it wasn’t - Pakistan scoring runs with our attacking field placing.) More circumspect this session but it’s to clinch the series.
Feels like when Australia began their domination of test cricket, upped their scoring rate, played aggressively and to win. We don’t have a Warne but hoping this is the start of some enjoyable English test cricket. Australia this summer will be the litmus test, they always seem to find weaknesses when they are there. Archer bowling in the nets again is an exciting prospect. |  |
