I hope Greg Leigh doesn't go out the door to Oxford, I really like him, never let us down but Leif Davis is integral to how we play. If Greg does wanna go cos he's pushing for regular games I hope it would be a loan with a recall clause because you never know, Leif could get injured today in training and be out for 6 months. ( bloody hope not obvs! )
Brandon Williams can play left back and right back, is the right age and although has a 1 year add on, his contract does expire at the end of the season, so potentially could be a loan with a view to permanent . ( i would be slightly surprised if he is on 50k a week as some people are reporting ) People assuming Greg off to Oxford hence IF we are looking to sign him it is cover for Leif but maybe JD's injury not good and physios have decided Harry needs an op leaving us with no right backs so club have had to deviate from positions we were targeting ( thought to be striker, winger and centre back ) People who are saying we dont want or need him could be very wide of the mark!
He's a good player btw, and i hate Norwich as much as the next man/woman/non binary person but having played for them on loan is very different to being an actual Norwich player ( hes not kissing the scum badge like Robert Fleck or a Ewan Roberts, Chris Sutton, Ian Crooks.....)
Also, I completely trust KM and MA to get it right, they've earned the right for us to trust them so far, havent they? Also just to say, this might not be true at all that we're trying to get him in, under this regime we dont usually know we are truly trying to sign someone until theyre in the door!
BTW i must take exception to the fan who said Andy Marshall was good; he was not, he was crap, he was crap before we signed him and we used to laugh at the mistakes he made for scum every week and he was crap for us, not because he played for them, just because he was crap!
Up the Towen, cant wait til Saturday, tough game and another full house, good time to play Leeds in my opinion, just imagine we get another win, could be circa 25% there in our first target that has to be getting 50 points on the board and staying up and then kicking on from there.
Every game is a battle and fine margins in this league. I totally understand other clubs supporters saying enjoy it while we can, we wont stay where we are etc but remember Plymouth last year and Leicester winning the Prem, they use to say it about them and look what happened....
We can dream because we have our club back people ;0)
