Suppose Kieren has long ago decided to stay. The people in the inner circle at PR all know this. Everyone is secure and happy. The master plan is to stir every possible uncertainty up at the most possible PL clubs all through the summer. OK, probably not, but I do like the idea.

Might also be helpful for KM to know what backing he has available - make sure he’s given the budget he feels he needs to succeed before signing a new contract.
I think as owners with KM you’d feel that he’s going to get the best out of maybe slightly less valuable players. KM might feel he needs a decent budget to spend.
