Ipswich Town another level now... 06:45 - Aug 10 with 992 viewsPippin1970

As supporters it's great seeing us in the promised land. Big teams below us taking our former players. 1 week now it's getting exciting for us all. Whatever happens going to be an enjoyable journey.

Yes. I really don't mind how it ends. Having fun with it is the main thing for me.
Staying up would be a third year in a row of pure delirium.

For me it's really important how it ends as I live in hope thar we can establish ourselves as a Premier league club .

I agree with your last two sentences. And there is much cause for optimism. There is not a lot of evidence that things are going to go terribly wrong, and so there's no reason to think they will.

However, after our last experience of the premier league, I do mind how it ends. If we get relegated, we get relegated. It would be a shame, but it's a hard hard league, and the money differentials are just staggering.

But I very much mind what the off-pitch consequences of relegation are. If Gamechanger were to cash out and we were to find ourselves with owners akin to many in the football league, it is not impossible that we find ourselves thinking Evans was rather benign. So to that extent I do mind how it ends - if we can stay financially stable, and have owners that are fully or halfway decent, that will be good enough for me. Last time around we had the collapse of ITV digital to contend with, which of course was a special circumstance.

As I say, no reason to think it will all go wrong, but I think as a fanbase we shouldn't need lessons in how bad things can get. It's part of the reason why the current situation is quite so utterly joyous.
