I've read Muric take a hammering but I personally don't see what he could do for the 4th goal. You aim for the back post on crosses/set pieces in the hope it creeps in if no one gets a touch and it's horrible for a goalkeeper to deal with. Before you criticise him, just remember he made two big 1v1 saves at 3-2 which would've been game over before Delap made it 3-3.
O'Shea and Burgess were monsters in the air. I think they both got caught on the 1st goal by coming across too much and over covered slightly.
I thought that was Phillips' best game for us. Got stuck in more this week and worked well with Cajuste.
On Cajuste, I thought he was brilliant too. Won the ball back well, broke up the play and a couple of times he found Hirst's feet for an outball instead of giving Hirst a 50/50 battle in the air.
Szmodics was good. Chased and pressurised well, lovely taken goal, only criticism was the chance to make it 0-3 which wasn't taken but he should start over Clarke for me. He gives you exactly what you need when you're fighting at the bottom.
Hirst was brilliant. Tough decision on Saturday, I feel like he would be unlucky to not start this weekend but it's more about getting Delap back into the 11 for me. Can we fit them both into the 11? You'd think Omari will come back in. |  |

I thought the Szmodics chance was actually a good save by the 'keeper, who just about managed to stick a leg out behind him and take the pace off the ball. |  |
