Although the result was familiar, the way we got there was entirely different and it shows our progress.
In the two matches against Leicester last season we struggled to hang on and they really should have been much further ahead. Of course, we shoed great character to draw both matches, but it felt like quality-wise, we were well below Leicester's standards.
Absent the interventions by the referee we would have won that match comfortably.
On the other hand, one point isn't much good and getting relegated is very tough because teams will pick of our bones like we did to Burnley and Luton, and indeed Hull. |  |
