Oooof that was poor again. 16:36 - Dec 8 with 928 viewsFromReuserWithLove

McKenna found wanting at this level right now. Oh well, I'm sure there's positives to take.

Hopefully we better the 11pt record.

Not sure how it’s on McKenna. Relatively speaking he’s being asked to turn water into wine. 8 of the starting XI were playing in the championship last season, 1 couldn’t get in the West Ham team and 2 were relegated with Burnley on 24 points. Look at the bench, a similar story.

We’re short on quality, we’re not strong enough. It’s really as simple as that. Unless you ‘do a Forest’ level of recruitment or come up with a stronger squad like Leeds might then you’re going to struggle from that base at this level. We’re huffing and puffing, but ultimately the quality shows.

We’re likely going down but I think that’s despite McKenna not because of him. The assumption that had we a Moyes or Allardyce in charge we would somehow sh1thouse our way to wins is a complete fallacy.

In the main I agree with you, I think KM is the real deal and if he was in charge of a squad at the level of a Bournemouth or Brighton I think he would do very well.

That being said he has to take some responsibility for not seeing that game out today. The subs were poor and his stubborn refusal to ever adjust the formation is costing us at times.

Agree with all of that. Not saying KM isn't the Messiah, he's just found wanting right now with some decisions. I wouldn't change him for anyone but he is also open to criticism.

Didn't we spend roughly as much as Forest? Cooper certainly isn't a genius either.
