They are not used so the disabled fans can see (who are sat to the left as you look at them)
I look down on those seats and did wonder if the club could raise the disabled area and thus solve the problem - but for now those seats are lost which is a shame.
As Lagos says, it’s because of the disabled areas, it’s the same at the other end.
Nothing wrong with the design. It was designed as an all seater in accordance with the legislation at the time (and still applicable). Wouldn't be a problem if people complied with ground regs and stewards enforced them. Won't happen of course.
Veni Vidi Participatur. Now we can get back to competing.

People were standing in the North stand of old, and have been doing so for decades.
Why would anyone expect or want them to sit down? Could have put the disabled section at the front of a side stand and then everyone's happy...
(Except those who have a problem with football fans standing up)
Not sure why you got a downvote for that. The North has never been right since it was rebuilt
nothing to do with me obvs, but its a nervy thing being a in a wheelchair (or accompanying someone who is) when you're sat at the front of the stand - a ball in the face could do damage. Used to much prefer the stands where the disabled area was further back,
Has anyone ever looked at their own postings for last day or so? Oh my... so sorry. Was Ullaa

Putting them out the way and out of sight is it? Surprised at that from you! Tut.

Ah yes, that makes obvious sense now.
Though there is no longer any space for the little light blue cars they sometimes use.

TWTD
And for the younger Twtdr...
Always felt these looked a bit flimsy. One wayward Peter Lorimer thunderbolt with a wet ball would've knocked em flying...and if you laugh at the thought of that you're a bad person!
