given that’s the sort of oppo we’ve managed to consistently lose against in the last few seasons. It looks like a lot of the players have benefitted from exposure to a higher standard of football, they may not be top quality Prem players, but they now look a cut above League 1 certainly. We got minutes into players that haven’t played for ages and those returning from injury and scored a few goals to boot, in a game we completely dominated almost from start to finish.
Not going to pinpoint and criticise, anybody who watched the game could see for themselves that there’s a couple of our squad struggling, that’s football.

A very professional performance which made a change from Maidstone, barrow, and Lincoln embarrassments. Looked very good first half, second half very much going through the motions. Looked worse for taking Burns off, but the guy had played a lot of minutes and needs a rest.
